Maharaja Ranjit Singh
The portrait highlights the glory of the court of Maharaja Ranjit Singh. He ruled Punjab for 40 years(1799-1839) and was known as Shere-e-Punjab. During his rule, Sikhs, Hindus, Muslims and Christians were treated equally regardless of their background. No one received the death sentence during his reign. On one side, Delhi joined hands with him, on other, Kabul prostrated before his might.
